Default What goes wrong with Integras with age?

In general, what tends to go wrong with Integras with age. I am more referring to the average Integra, not one that gets beat and raced all of the time, and I am referring to all Integras. I am referring to our body style. Thanks for any help!

I'm up there on the miles, so let me give this a shot.

Not one hell of a lot! (and that's a good thing ... )
I've heard the fuel pump may become weaker around the ~75K mile mark.
When my injectors were sent out for cleaning @ 85K miles one of them was out of spec (lower) by about 10-15% (don't have the data sheet).
Obviously, the timing belt was also done at my 85K mile service.

But that's all I can come up with at the moment.

Try this site out for a list of typical Integra problems:
http://integra.vtec.net/engine/repairs.html

My 95 LS had the following things go bad
1) Radiator
2) Brake Master Cylinder
3) Cam Plug leaking

all before 40,000 miles (and fortunately, under warranty)

A couple years ago I had a '94 RS with 140 miles on it. Not much went wrong. The lock for the hood kept F...g up. I'd have to lubricate it every couple of months. Water kept seeping into the spare wheel well, and the passenger foot well. I know that it's not a big deal but nontheless it was all annoying. I heard of wheel bearings giving in. Oh yeah- The Radio Antenae f....d up at around 120 miles, and the passenger window didn't feel like coming down all the way.

If you got more than 2 stickers on your car, the engine is known to blow up at around 40K.

At 90K miles, my window motors are sloooowing down. The suspension seems noiser over bumps and potholes (new Koni Sports and ITR springs). The paint seems thin and prone to chipping and therefore rusting.

The actuator of the power door lock on the passenger door went . It was still under warranty so it was fixed. The OEM cd player also went

The best place to ask this question will be in the Integra board. Since on that board there are people who own older Integra's they can give you perfect answers.

Good question !

Tail light seals go bad and your spare tire well floods. Window rattles.
Rust around the rear wheel wells. (If you still have that plastic strip, pull it off since it holds water!!)

All I can think of right now.

Oh yeah, a couple of other things on at 90k miles. A lot of people on this list reported springs breaking on their clutch (mine did). My passenger door lock is acting funny (making machine gun noises).

Same here, the actuator broke, but mine happened after 3 years of ownership. The dealer charged Acura $160 for the warranty job.

Common problems I have heard of:

* Cam seals
* radior cracks
* header cracks
* Coil and/or ignitor goes

I have a 94 LS with 96k on it, purchased 9/93, still going strong. The G3 is a very well made car.
