Default Skunk2 Manifold On D16A6

Sup everyone. I've got a Skunk2 Intake manifold. I've got everything installed. I start the car up and it revs to 4 grand and seems like it wants to go higher but i turn it off (its 2am here). I'm usin a 92 LS throttle body and my cable it kinda short, but I dont think thats the problem. I was unable to hook up the Fast Idle dealy cus theres no space on the manifold for it. I'm also not sure where the various vaccuum lines attach on this manifold. I'm not sure where things go, and I also dont know what i might have to cap off when using this. Does anyone of a have a pic of where things go? I need help badly! Thanks.

i think thats your problem...assuming you dont have any vacuum leaks. make sure the TB closes all the way to the throttle stop screw. check your TPS voltages and adjust your cable until it is in spec.

just unplug the fast idle thermo valve from the harness...you dont need it, and it wont throw a CEL

Ok, rechecked everything, replaced throttle body gasket and used gasket maker for a better seal. Tightened down the IM a lil more as best i could. And checked around for vaccuums that I may have missed, but didnt find anything. When I start the car, it jumps up to 5k, and when I put my finger over the hole in the throttle body, it drop down to what sounds like 2-3k. It sounds loud too, like I have to have missed something, but i cant tell where are would be getting in.

I managed to get it runnin. I bypassed the PSV and ran the map directly to throttle body. And also disconnected the vacuum to the dashpot. If i connect it it revs up to like 2500 and doesnt drop. Also throwin a map code but i'll work more stuff out later. Right now so much stuff is ghetto-rigged and i need to refine stuff. thanks again for the help guys.

Aight, it feels like its runnin on three cylinders, but there appears to be not much of a power loss. I'm also throwin a map sensor code. Its doin the same idle thing where it bounces up and down from like 800 to 2100 and then runs up to 3k and stays there for at least 3 seconds b4 droppin back down. Seeing that I have a whole new mani and throttle body, I'm gonna assume that its the map sensor doing this because its the only thing that i havent replaced other than me having a problem with the motor. I dont have the Dashpot hooked up to the intake manifold, but its still on the throttle body. Theres some other stuff i gotta go out and check, just got home from work so i hadnt had time to do anything after i got it runnin semi-reliably. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

As far as my idle surging goes, if i partially cover the hole in the throttle body, i can get it to idle normally. I have the screw all the way closed, but its still suckin gangsta air. I've tried 2 different IACV's and neither solved the problem. Help a brotha out wit some answers y0

spray some starting fluid around, if theres a hole you can't see, when you spray the starting fluid near it it will rev up, that will tell you if and where it is a vaccuum leak

At this point I dont think its a vaccuum leak because i've completely swapped manifolds and most of the vaccuum hoses have been replaced, the seal around the head and throttle body also check out. I'm startin to think its sumthin mechanical.

Check ur TPS voltage. Make sure the throttle cable is adjusted properly. Swap with known good Map sensor. Spray starting fluid on everything. And even check w/ known good throttle body (maybe mondo's)

BeatDrw Not gonna happen.
