Default type r shocks?

are stock type r shocks as good as any aftermarket shocks? such as kyb or tokicos? cuz i mite get some and put it on my 97 LS

Well, they are better than the KYB's. IMHO, those (the kyb's) aren't that good. If you're gonna put an aftermarket suspension, the tokico illumina series are pretty good, the Koni yellows are great. The type R's are pretty good, but if you do those, you must replace the LCA's to the Type R's. It's a different type of mount. Check the suspension forum. They got a ton of good info, as well as shock dynos, which can help you make up your mind.

thanks..what about just the front? im gettin it for a good deal 20dollars for just the front..and it has 30k on it and 80 for all 4..

Do they actually make aftermarket ITR lower control arm. I made lots of research and found nothing.

The fronts will bolt in without getting new LCAs.

I haven't seen any, but they can be bought from Honda NEW with bushings for $88/pair for rears.

What brand are they? I only see used JDM ITR LCAs.

i jus putted the front shocks on my car and it rides way better then before..and my car is slammed even more

I have them in my car and it rides so much nicer than stock. It's mainly to hold me over till i can get koni yellows or some Tien RE's or RA's.
