Today i turn on my engine(D16A6) in my crx and it sounds like a truck engine.. Does anyone know why? Or is this common.

 

thats a little to vauge ur going to have to get more specific on the noise

 

give it a tune up, maybe........

 

Like it makes a clicking noise either from the alternator belt or the distributor cap, i am not sure its probably coming from both. Its okay if you don't know ill take it to the shop tomorrow.

how does that sound like a truck?

 

it clicks and rattle..

 

How bad is it?

 

its not loud unless you open the hood..

 

is it your fan?

 

nope..

 

what part of the motor is it coming from?

 

sounded like the alternator..its hard to tell..but hey i think its the fan..
