ECM
Can you use a automatic ecm with a manual trans? Also what do you do with power steering if you dont have it on your car? Could you add power steering?

yes you can, there will be a CODE. if P06 or P28 ecu then simply remove RP17 jumper. voila its a 5spd.
PS can be added as long, you have all the parts, from the rack to the PS pump and brackets. (be more specific and search as work will differ from model to model)
