Ok me being the dumbass i am let my friend drive my car and he's just learning stick. so he's flying down the back roads in my town and he forgot that they just got redone and now are even shittier than before... he hits a huge ditch and sends the car flying about 5-6 inches off the ground, we land and he stalls out.... this was about a week ago and since then everything seemed fine until today... the car was idling ok but it just keep reving itself to about 2000 rpms then back down again... now there's a bad burning smell coming from the hood i popped it and everything looks ok to me but i'm not a mechanic so what could be the problem..?

probally you got a leak or its your idle air control valve
