Default Fuel Filter Q's from EG DX & EX

I have a Civic DX and i cant seem to find a fuel filter for my car. My fuel filter has both inlet and return on the top where as the EX has inlet on the top and return on the bottom. are the two interchangeable without changing the fuel lines and fittings? what i wanted to do was buy a stainless fuel line from rail to filter but they only sell it for EX's. ALso when i go to a parts store they dont even have a part number or part for a DX fuel filter.

92-93 has in and out on top.....94-95 has one on top other on bottom....unless it is Del Sol up to 94 has both on top.....that should be correct

I think in 92-94 had both on top, then in 95up the change to 1 on top and 1 on bottom

my 94 ex had both on top

little confused, the 2 lines on the filter are as follows 1 comes from the tank the other goes to the fuel rail..

the return line is at the other end of the fuel rail, and I do not believe it changed between the years 92-95 and possibly 96+

hope this helps

No... any autoparts store should carry the correct filter for your car...

Just make sure you get the right one before you walk out the door.. .

Most of the time the guys working behind the counter don't know what they are talking about...

I just replaced the fuel filter in my daily driver and it was the same way... both inlet and outlet are on the top. What brand are you getting? I might have the part number handy...( I work for an autoparts distributor)
