not really worth it.. unless you love torque and not high revving

There are two F-series. Are you asking about the Accord ones, or the S2000 ones? Oh, I guess SOHC means Accord...
All I know is that my mother-in-laws old 91 accord had 285,000 miles on it, and that motor really wanted to run. I would hit the gas, and it would snap my head back every time. It's all about low-end torque. I wasn't as impressed with the vtec version (intake only) from the 94+ accords, but it was probably because the car itself was much heavier...
P.S. DarkShadowCivic, where can I find more pics of that car in your avatar...

and as far as the motor goes, my friends are tryin to talk me into it, i LOVE my SOHC 1.5 non v-tec thats still running strong!
do they make many upgades for these f-series like they do with the B and D series?

Yea they have all the same aftermarket that the b and d series has. But alot of things may need to be custom. Also We are also trying to convince my friend (HXVTEC) to do a accord vtec motor in his car.

well supposibly you use h22to eg mounts to swap over the f22. Axels need to be custom made i believe. Just search around i know its been done befor. also there will be some witeing that has to be redone, intake will have to be custom aswell

This statement is only correct in a naturally aspirated format. The F-22 can handle 300 WHP on bone stock internals, and they are a $300.00 motor at many salvage yards.
