Default JUST ORDERED BC3+ CAMS.....ADVISE

MY cams are scheduled for delivery for thursday so ill be installing them on friday. I was wondering if their are any "base" cam gear settings to set them at. I've searched around and saw alot of people getting good results with int+2 exh. 0. Is this true?

every motor is different, for the best cam gear settings for your setup goto a dyno.

And with that said, try 0 exhaust, +2 on intake.

try +3 on the intake and 0 on the exhaust. set ignition timing back to 16 degrees. raise your fuel pressure up to 46psi if you havent already done so. let us know.

Depends what "stock" is for you. People running an ITR engine can get away with the stock vlavetrain from there. You though, may wish to consider upgrading to some ITR outters with Portflow innies on both sides. Stock retainers will be fine.

i had the same question when i got mine. And i took the advise from peeps on HT on upgrading so the cams sat in my office for about 3 weeks till i got my supertech complete valvetrain. Then with all my luck when they installed the valvetrain and cams they got it all done and put it on the dyno to re tune it all motor and on the nitrous and blew 500 rpm into the nitrous pull. Now im rebuildin one sick nitrous motor and hear these cams will be good so we will see
