can i use stock headgasket for header?
hey i just got a dc 4-2-1 header for my civic, and was wondering if i could reuse the gasket from the head to the header. if not, then would i need to get a dc sports specific gasket? i also need the gasket that goes between the two pieces. where could i buy this? guess in general im asking for what i need to put the header on. thanks

yes you can tear aluminum foil, but i think the exhaust manifold is a bit mor complex than a piece of aluminum foil, i realize it is fragile, but no, it does not tear that easily. I have reused mine 4 or 5 times.

You have never torn a gasket before?
i have a few times. if the gasket gets bent a little bit it will get weak and possoibly tear.
