B16A Vs B16B CrankShaft ??

Default B16A Vs B16B CrankShaft ??

Spoon have a stroker kit for the B16B, will it fit the B16A ??

i believe the specs and stroke are the same...i dont see how they could be any different.

if the bore is the same and they are both 1.6 liter, than they are the same.

NO it will not, the B16B has a taller deck height than a B16A, a B16B block is just a destroked B18C5 block

correct. to back the above poster up, the timing belt is the same part # for both the b16b and the b18c, wheras the b16a belt is a different part # (shorter)

Just cause they have the same displacement it doesn't mean they're alike. R/S is totally different in the B16B than the B16A.

i was referring to the crankshaft similarities, not if the stroker kit will fit or not. my bad.

he asked any differences in the crankshaft in the first question.

hmm, so it is not posible to take the GSR Crank,rods and pistons,
and mount them in a B16A2.. damit

then the primary reson for the diffrence must be the length of the rods,
becaus the stroke is the same in B16A2 and B16B, but yes, it seems the
deck height is not the same..

this must alsow mean that the B16B Block, is the same as B18C blocks
