Default fuel pump isn't turning on

okay..i was working on putting a radio in my car and everything was going fine...until i was an idiot and didn't take the battery cable off and the ground and power hit..on the radio wiring harness. anyways i just thought i blew the radio fuse so replace it and everything is fine....but then i go to start the car and i have no fuel pump. CEL is always on i checked for codes...it doesn't blink at all..i checked the fuse's under the hood and they look fine. So i check again under the dash and there all fine as well..so i changed my main relay..and changed ECU and STILL it doesn't turn on. I"m lost to all means and wanna know someone else's opion. Tommarow i'm checking the tranny ground to see if that somehow messed up from me messing with the radio? I was lookin and some people have had the ignition go? i dono on that situation as well. Its my radio can't be that big of a deal.

check the "Back up" fuse under the hood as well as the ecu fuse under the hood... there is also a 15 amp fuse under the dash that i cant remember the label...but that is what caused mine to go nuts.... same symptoms..... if that doesnt fix the problem try to figure out if the fuel pump relay is getting power.... good luck PM me if you have any other questions....

thats the thing..i already checked the ECU fuse and the battery fuse and that other one in the engine bay compartment...i changed them completely with a del sol i know runs fine. There's a lil 15 amp and those big ones.i swapped out both 50's and the 80 one that runs the batttery still no life in the fuel pump. I'm going to double check and pull all of my fuse's today. I changed the main relay but i also noticed there is 3 more relay's do any of those control the fuel pump? i dono if i mention that on my gauge cluster my battery icon doesn't even light up anymore..so i'm thinkin it has to do with voltage somewhere gettting grounded..

Did you check the fuel pump fuse? I know on 92-95, my fuse diagram didn't show it, and it ended up being the fuel pump fuse.

Only the main relay controls the fuel pump so its not one of the other ones. The pump itself is probably bad.

I am willing to bet that you shorted out your main relay.......or you have a bad fuel pump

I have a Walbro 190 LPH fuel pump that I will sell for 35 plus shipping and I also have a main relay that I will sell for 40 plus shipping
