Default Type-R Swap

i really want to do the b18c5 swap...BUT its obd2 my car is obd1 being a 93 del sol...how can i make this a legal swap...or is it not possible?

Sure... you could convert the motor to OBD1 and its all good.

<FONT COLOR="royalblue"> Use an OBD1 Dizzy, OBD1 Injector, Alternator and there u go. </FONT>

u say money for type R and k20 is too much for you? then why'd ya start the thread?

but yes...if you have enough money for the c5, might as well keep on saving and buy urself a k20. k20 is on a different level than a c5, stock for stock.

i can save the money its just so far out of reach you know? im just trying to research every possible thing so i dont make a bad mistake u kno? but one more question about the k20 itd be alot of working seeing as its a 6 speed tranny right?

After all is said and done, the k20 will be about 3-4 grand more than the itr.

It isn't the 6 speed tranny that is the problem. It's more the electical that is the trickiest part of the swap. Getting past the imoblilizer (if you use the stock ecu) and wiring everything in so that it works.
