What should I Run??
OK last time i took my 92 teg LS to the track i hit a 16.1 withOUT 3rd gear, and the teeth for the timing was jumped over by like 1 or 2 teeths, and my clutch barely started to slip.
This is with my current set-up:
Greddy Evo muffler
Custom 2.5in. Piping
S.R Intake
Matrix Wires which i switched to NOLOGY HOT WIRES
NGK spark plugs
BBK fuel pump
Centerforce dual friction clutch
B&M Short Shifter
YS1 tranny (3rd synchro GONE
)
AEM cam gears (set at 0,0)
And was on 17's
Now i just purchased another ys1 tranny (hope it works good)
In the process of getting my ECU chipped
getting a ACT HDSS clutch kit with the ACT 8lbs flywheel
and Maybe if i have enough money left im gonna tuned my cam gears
and maybe get a header
Then after all is done im gonna take it to the track
What do you think Ill run, my third gear is the strongest so i guess i lost about .3 - .5 of a second so I THINK ill hit a low 15's. Maybe 15 flats or high 14's with slicks.
What do you guys think. Oh yea if it helps i ran a 15.8 stock but with just a Brullen muffler and Homemade Intake.
Dont worry thats not all im gonna be doin. THis is just for right now.

I cant find out my current ys2 just died on me
, but i bought another, but its not goin on yet untill i get everything else. So my car is just stopped. And besides i just wanna know wut i could run maybe u guys have a similiar set-up, thats why im asking

You ran a 16.1 in an otherwise stock LS with the timing belt off? I figure one tooth has to be 5 degrees or more. That alone would add a second I would think just being off one tooth. And you said maybe 2. Which would mean the car was barely even running. So whatever it is it should be a hell of a lot faster.

Yea it should be alot faster, i would beat my freind in his 96 integra ls with AEM cold air and cat-back, and i still smoked him. Then when i fixed the timing damn thing pulled harder, even in the rain last week i was f*uking around with a friend in a eclipse rollin , and i downshifted and my teg just stayed pelling out and the then caught traction and the car just passed him up like nuthing.
