Default Cheaper JDM Conversion Solution?

I recently thought of doing a HID JDM Front End Conversion. I searched around and saw the prices going about $1500-2500 for the needed parts.

However, I spoke with a friend of mines and he said he can replicate the SAME looks by just covering the original bumper with fiberglass to make it look like the JDM bumper. HE said all I have to buy is the HID JDM headlights, the rest would fit perfectly. I'm not that good about the cutom bodywork of Integs so I'm asking you guys how would it look? I thought JDM fenders and hood made a difference to adapt the headlights to?

Plz get bac at me, thank u.

Would not look right to the people that know what to look for. But your average joe might think it is nice. It will probably cost a lot and if it doesnt it WILL look like ****.

your friend is a crack head if he thinks he can just put fiberglass over it and make it look like the JDM frontend. if you want cheap get the fiberglass conversion for like $800. i recently sold my metal conversion for $1000 just look around. do it right or dont do it at all.

yeah he's a pretty good mechanic. His project car is about to be finish and it's a very clean car. I'll get some pics if i can.

But I think I'm just going to buy the parts and have him install it. I trust his work. He did a JDM Type R conversion on this other guy's EK and that turned out very clean.

Oh yeah, also I have this one guy selling a pair of Evo VIII Recaro Front Seats. Would those fit an 94+ Integ?
