loose steering?
Wassup everyone
I Recently got some rims from a friend and slapped them on my teg. They are 17" Tenzo R Sinko's on 205/40/17 Falken Zeix tires. Since I put them on, my steering has gotten all floppy and loose. Anyone know why and has anyone had the same problem? Im looking to buy some nice 15" rims later and im wondering if Im gunna have the same problem.

What tires were you running before? The falken Ziex have a pretty soft sidewall. Also, check the pressure. You might have low tire pressure, compounded with the soft ziexes, is nothing but soft cornering.

my steering feels loosish but i think its due to the winters we get here and the age and mileage on the car... its a 94 RS. i think thereare some shot bushings or something... i need to get under there this spring anyways. maybe ill shore it up some with an ITR front sway and some new bushings along with my front lower tie bar... but yeah... get a mechanic to see if you power steering is maybe malfunctioning? the rings seem like a good idea to get if your hub doesnt match perfect to the wheel. theyre inexpensive anyways. hope this gave you some ideas...
