B18a or B18b whats the difference?

Like the title says. And which would be easier to put into a CRX.

i believe (and please correct me) that the b18a has a better intake cam, and that is the only mechanical difference, the valve covers look different, and i believe they both go into a rex as easy as the other

i'm not sure, but i think the b has a slightly bigger throttle body too

b18a is easier to put into a CRX because of OBD issues. The b18b has 10 more hp and a bit more torque I think.

size wise, there both the same, when it comes to wiring, shoot for the obo0 motor. Honestly save your money and get a B18c thats where it's at

The B18B had 142 hp.

The non OBD 1990-91 B18A's engine output was at 130, and for the OBD 1992-93's it was bumped to 140.

Like he said, the non OBD engines are the easiest to install into our cars.
