i have two options i know someone who is selling a B18b and another who is selling a d16z6 im not sure what i want they both have around 100000 miles and they both are pretty cheap. if someone can give me some advantages or disadvantage that would help alot.. i know they have similar horsepower ratings but the B18 has alot more torque, i also don't have alot of money to spend right now so please just let me know what some of the pros and cons are. thanx

 

B18b is good, but you have to but a lot of other stuff to make it work like mounts fro hasport and shift linkage, so if your a budget the the D series is for you, no new mounts and you can use the same transmission

 

Like he said, the B engine will require some extra parts. The D16Z6 is lighter than the B series which is a little better for turns, but the B18 responds better to modification in my opinion.

 

if you can do it B all the way.

 

if you could afford it i would get the b18 it has more torque and later when you have more money you could put together lsvtec and that would be awsome . in the long run the the b18 would be much better

 

b18b and turbo owns all.
