does HCP make mounts for a hydro b16 into an eg?
all i can find is h22 kits.
i need mounts to put a b16 into a del sol.
i dont want oem, and i would prefer not to pay as much as hasports cost.

to the best of my knowledge, they do not make OEM replacement DC/EG mounts-just the auto to manual mount and H-Series kit...
...you might even try contacting the manufacturer-i bet they'd know!
why do you not want OEM?an insert kit practically eliminates all movement, and is about as stiff as you want to get.can't see the purpose in spending a ton of money on mounts for a swap that uses stock mounts.

because for the price of oem, i should just get hasports.
i figure i will need the drivers side, the tranny and the rear mount. i'd get the integras for the extra strength now i gotta get the insert kit. i can forget the 2 front mounts sinice i have the integra mounts and the inserts.
oem parts are expensive.

you're right-OEM is definately expensive brand new.try the classifieds.when i did my B20 swap a few months ago,i didn't have any of the mounts, and found all of them for less than $100 here.

is there any certain reason you don't want used mounts?inserts work even with broken mounts, although i'd never want that.shouldn't be a problem finding good condition, used mounts.
your motor/tranny/ECU you're installing aren't new are they?don't take that the wrong way-i'm just saying that you're looking at spending a lot more money than needed.

its a pain in the *** to buy used mounts.. i've done it, and watched friends get jerked around with because the seller "thought it was for a b series, not his d15"

i can definitely understand that-i've dealt with it myself.
you may also want to try Ebay-there was a guy on there selling new,OEM mounts fo WAY less than regular price.i got my upper driver billet mount for something like $40 shipped, and i remember it being the most expensive one he sold of all the B-series mounts.
to the above poster-last i heard,Place was out of business.even if they aren't i've never been impressed by one of their products i used.HCP and Hasport get the thumbs up though.

the auction was long enough ago that you can't still view it in my profile.none of the names of the sellers stick out as being the one either.
i guess you could try looking up the names of the sellers in my feedback and maybe find them, but that'd be really time consuming.my Ebay account is teamnextgen.

use your head, the only reason for not wanting stock mounts is because their not stiff enough. inserts are cheaper and does just as good of a job as aftermarket mounts. Learn to think b4 coming at me with stupid s%*t.

again, did you even read?
the reason for not wanting stock mounts was clearly explained above. new they are nearly $300. Used is a pain in the ***.
again, like i explained above.
