Enjo HCP or Hasport mounts for H22 into EG - What do you guys recommend?
I kno there's a post on the H22A swap into and EG but I don't really want to dig into that much text to find out which mounts are best on the market.
Has anyone used or know about the quality of the Enjo motor mounts? Because so far I have a very good deal on them. There's another company called Yonaka but I don't think I want to go there
I want to get the best mounts for my H22A swap... best as in, least amount of vibration (though I doubt that from performance mounts), best positioning for axles... and good enough for hood clearance... and bolt on is a must
Thx in advance...

Hasport or HCP
You get what you pay for, remember that!!!!
Hasports and HCP do all of their R&D. Most of the other mount kits companies that have been popping up now-a-days simply copy the HCP mount kits. The fitment is usually horrible with those cheap mount kits.
There really is no simple answer to what is the "best" eg22 kit. You have to do your own research to find out which one of the two you like better. Both are good mount kits with different design and placement of the motor.

A lot of ppl like the hasport kit. Enjo makes fine mounts, 700+ hp h22eg racing axles. I think this thread is for people who have used these mounts, how can you say that hasport and hcp are better than enjo when you dont have them?
I paid $350 for mine, ~$600 for the hasport seemed kind of rediculous, i dont care how pretty they are, i just want them to work.

FYI, they're all made from the same company out of Ontario, Canada....... used to be called Totem, now ENJO and Avid, and now Yonaka. If you look at the mounts, they are poor copies of the HCP early mounts, where as Yonaka has a copy of the current mount (look at their solid steel brick of a mount and look at HCP's billet aluminum driver side mount..... a little obvious there). I know this because of first hand experience with many different mount kits and customers bringing their cars in with them in and us swapping them out for new HCP mounts. Do a search on this topic and you'll see me posting clear examples and reasons on who the kits differ.
The HT concensous here is to either stick with HCP or Hasport for motor mounts. Use the other kits at your own risk.

I found used hasport mounts that have been used hard for three years and they are as good as new with no visible stress points. Great Mounts

Is that link supposed to work? didnt work for me...
How much do the Hasport run anyway? I don't think the H22 swap is even worth it... I might as well use that money into the B-Series

Agreed. The Hasport mounts are really nice also, but I liked my HCP's quite well.

Hasport - I love them. It took a bit to line the side-mount up, but the rear was easy. AL is bling bling.
HCP - Cheap and they do the job. The rear is bitch to line up (on the old ones) but bang for the buck.
I used BOTH kits first hand. HASport if you have the extra dough. HCP if you want the job done for cheap(er).

if you want:
lifetime warranty with people that actually know honda swaps in/out?
ability to choose stiffness of the dampner, like medium, hard, or extra hard (race)?
lots of time and money spent into making sure that the engine is properly placed in your car?
bling bling cnc billet mounts that are functional and wutever else.
then go hasport.
its pricier, but well worth it imho

Yea but you'd have to cut the transmission bracket off the chassis, which is a no no hehe... I don't plan on staying H22 forever...
The only thing I'm worried about is how the car might not be dropped as low as I want it to be which is only 2" drop from stock... I hear that dropping it too low would probably put more stress on the axles which will cause wear and tear and eventually premature axle failure

All of you guys have no idea what your talking about. Get your facts straight. Have you ever seen the quality of HCP's mounts. They seem to like to grainder a lot. And their plates are not even one peice, its 2 peices welded together then grinded off. As far as Enjo and Totem. I'll let you judge their welding.

I have no idea what you're talking about. You need to start typing in English. Yes, I have seen HCP's mounts. I used them on my H22 swap and a buddy of mine used them on his B17 swap. They're good, quality mounts. I agree with turbogixxer, they are the best bang for your buck.

Sorry, professor UpstateCivic. I've used HCP's mounts they fit fine, but the quality is not all there. I had the H22 EG mount kit and the tranny mount snap off. I'll see if I could post a pic for all of you guys. Also the motor was just bone stock. Like I said if you guys like parts that are welded and then grinded. I'll make the best performance parts there is.
