Default Problems with dpfi to obd1

Hey everyone. I am just finishing a swap on my 89dx hatch. I have converted all the way to obd1 and I am having problem getting it started. without the main relay the car turns over fine. When i put the relay in and try to start and and it it turns over starts for a brief second and the starts backfiring gas/smoke out the intake. . timing marks haven't been touched since swap so I know the are correct. search is not working but I belive it goes
34
12
"edit" firing order is correct
any advice will help. When it starts(but quickly dies) i do get a CEL 41 for the o2 sensor but nothing else.

#4 CKP. is that going to be the wires going to crank angle sensor or the cylinder position sensor?

Check both of your timings - the crank/cam belt timing as well as you ignition.

Your firing order is right but the plug wires are out of phase. Put your motor at TDC, and take the distributor cap off, and you'll see where plug wire to cylinder 1 is supposed to go.

In the little pictogram that you made in your 1st post, you should have #1 where you show #3, and then the order that you showed (1-3-4-2), I think!

And it still doesn't work? Whose OBD0 to OBD1 adapter did you use?
