I sold what i thought to be a d16z6 intake manifold. Kid called me back saying it was a DX. What's the difference? It was bare, no sensors, rail, or TB so those things dont matter.

i got a z6 intake man and its got it has P08 on it that means Z6 if i am not mistaken. also it looks a hell of a lot like my z6 intake

 

Thats most definatly not a dx intake. The DX has the throttle body on the top.

 

Thats a z6. Its not a vertical throttle body, and it has the longer runners that go down, then over to the head, whereas the y8 has the shorter runners that go nearly straight over to the head.

Its definitely not a y7 (dx).

How are you sure it isn't a D15B7 manifold?

im not so sure thats a z6 manifold, I have a z6 and mine looks slightly different, like the sensor ports are in a diff place etc, anyone else have any idea?

Thats funny that statement had a point, but was like completely unhelpful lol

 

this is a Z6 intake mostly stripped i was going to powder coat it and never got around to it hope this helps

i just went to check my z6 in the z6 it's staped with "p32" on top of the im also another thing i noticed was my runners are solide and donot have space between them.........hope that helped
