Default How to mount 4-point to a rollbar?

hey guys, i have a 90 civic hatch, and the previous owner thought it would be cool to put in a 4 point. only problem was that he totally half assed it and didnt mount them right. basically he bolted them straight to the floor. Now seeing as how i dont feel like breaking my spine in a car accident, i have decided to buy a rollbar w/ a harness bar and mount them to that *correctly*. Now the question i have for you is how do you correctly mount these to a bar? and if i were to just purchase the rollbar now, could i later on down the road add onto it making it into a full cage? Oh and BTW i was planning on buying the Autopower one, any input? thanks in advance!

if they are a Y rear mount they are supposed to go to the floor otherwise it should be obvious

BTW the 4 points are'nt legal for road use and don't cut it for stuff that rquires the use of a harness. You need a 5 - 6 point

he he happen to have a black one for sale https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1132132

well all of the pics i have seen it looks like the harness is just wrapped around the bar.

secondly, can you "add on" to a roll bar after is has been installed to make it a full cage?

Yep - and you should some 6-point belts instead, discoveryparts.com sells the g-force belts at a pretty good price.

If you need a hand, next time you're at the track ask any of the racers, they're always happy to help out.

I have no idea why you'd want a 4 point anyways.

5 point is ok, 6 is mo' betta.
