what you guys think about VX transmission for a d-series..
hey, guys i currently did a post on swapping transmissions for my d15b7... i got a 94 dx, and my tranny is bad, so im looking for a tranny, im mainly looking for a SI, or EX tranny for 92-95 civics... but i found a VX one, im wondering is that worse or better...
or
or
woops, i thought i was in EG/EK thread... sorry anyway, but would a VX have a lower acceleration... b/c some of ht's guys told me ex/si would give me more acceleration, and cx would give it a longer acceleration..
EX/SI has lower gearing which equals better acceleration.
DX/CX/VX has longer gearing which equals shitty acceleration.
DX/CX/VX has longer gearing which equals shitty acceleration.

yes with the CX it will take you longer to acclerate
if your intersted in your car going faster then you want the si / ex trans. I f you want to add several thousand HP to your car and go for the landsepeed record the VX and CX trans may be better for you
