Interior Conversion.. Viable? How much?
I have the light interior on my civic and it's problematic in the sense that dirt shows up really easily on my floor and my seats. I've head that people do entire interior conversions to change the color. Something I'd firstly say is alot of work , but wanting a black interior I'd like to ask do people do this often, how long does it take, is it worth the time and effort and how much would a COMPLETE black EG8 (sedan) interior might cost me.
Let me know! THanks!

its hard to say how much itd cost, check junkyards and stuff around in your area. Im considering doing it for my hatch, its got a blue interior, which i hate
But junkyards are gonna be where Ill look cause it'll probably be easiest if I do decide to do this.

we switched my brothers blue cx interior with black Si interior from carpet, to plastics, to seat belts, dash, door locks, EVERYTHING went to the black Si interior. looks very good. i bought the 92 Si hatch for 400 as a parts car. I would recommend doing it if it has that nasty *** blue interior.

Not too sure about that.

If you are converting from civic parts to the same civic parts just in a different color it won't take you very long to switch out the entire dash, center console, and door panels.
You will have to drop the steering column to remove the dash. This may sound intimidating but it's not, it's only 4 bolts.
