Help me remember what to plug onto this
Hey guys. I'm having trouble assembling the motor i'm putting in my car. On the rear portion of the block to the left of the breather there is a long/skinny nipple type deal that comes out of the block. I'm not sure what plugs into it. There is a part of the wiring harness that has a tiny hole in it, and i tried plugging it over the nipple and it worked, but i just want to be positive that I plugged the right thing into it
Sounds most likely to be your oil pressure sending unit. Does the plug look kinda like a dunce cap. Ha. The thing in the block is near the oil filter. May have a green ring? Most do. Hope this helped.

oil pressure sensor is right next to or below the oil filter, could be knock sensor its closer to the top of the block, right below the intake manifold, they are both one wire sensors.
