Turn off the caps.

you can get a thinner HG and some flat valves.

or you could run some CTR pistons for around 11.5:1 (think that's right)

i heard of the ctr pistons but the block size is diff from the ctr block vs the b16a block and i think the stroke is diff and with the ctr dome on those pistons im afraid they will hit the valves

the CTR pistons have a higher deck clearance, but I dont think they would hit anything. You should be fine.

CTR pistons will work, but I would run a stock headgasket with them and not mill the head.

I recommended milling because it is much cheaper. To install new pistons the right way, usualy you need to over bore, hone, have the new pistons pressed onto the rods, have the small end of the rod machined to fit the CTR piston. Then while you have the pistons and rods out, are you just going to reuse the stock bearings......it could get expensive quick. If you have the money for a rebuild, cool. If not, milling is good.

I GUESS IT COULD RUNN MORE MONEY ...DID YOU MILL YOUR HEAD DOWN AND ADD THE FLAT VALVES AND IF YOU DID WHAT IS THE COMPRESSION YOUR GETTING?? BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY PISTONS OR RING IM NOT GETTING BLOW-BY OR ANYTHING JUST WANT MORE KICK IN THE BOTTOM END

THX

I milled my head 0.030". That brought compression up to about 11:1 with the PR3 pistons. I'm still running stock valves, but some flat faced valves will up it about .5.

I am currently rebuilding my engine, so I'm going to have a bit more compression.
