hood latch relocation
if this has been brought up before direct me...
if not, this is the first time ive heard about relocating the hood latch. what is this exactly.
is it just the one under the hood or the one in the cockpit? both?
either way, it sounds great to me!
how hard is it?
can it be done at my garage with basic tools?
should it be done at a professional garage?
fellas thanks, the newbie.

please answer me this, WHY? Why do you want to relocate your hood latch, if thieves want something they will get it. Get an alarm before you start gettin crazy on your hood latch.
yes, this has been covered before and is nothing new. here is a guide how to do it:

</TD></TR></TABLE>its not a solution to car theft, its a deterrent. the difference is a detterent will slow down or prevent a small time thief from easily breaking into your car, thus allowing more time for them to get caught or confuse them. the hood relocation trick is meant to be used in addition to an alarm, killswitch, and/or any other anti-theft method. popping the hood using the switch is the way thieves disable alarms, so its a good project.

I think you mean Hood cable relocation. Its very easy to do and all the tools you need are 10mm socket, coat hanger (or something similar), and some pliers.
