anyone have a sohc with turbo?...isit worth it?

I agree turbo sohc = waste of money and time you will be wishing for more power and the money you will have to spend to get it wont be worth it

 

I spent 2200 on a new greddy kit/intercooler/bov. Another 800 could get me rods and pistons, letting me boost around 12-14 psi, granted if I have the fuel.

I know you might be trying to narrow your choices, but keep your options open. Swap or turbo, either has its own advantages and disadvantages. There are a handful of people (that I know of) running sub 14 quarters on 10 psi. Likewise I'm sure there are just as many hybrids running around the same time.

D16 replacement parts are cheap too.

I have a d16y8 with a greddy kit. . .I wish I would have done the swap then turbo. . .

 

do can still do a swap and then just replace the turbo manifold for a B series motor.
