arp rod bolts
how hard is it to replace the rod bolts on a b18a1 engine? I am building up an ls vtec engine and a buddy of mine suggested using ARP bolts. I know they're the best on the market but are they hard to "push out" of the rod?
Thanks
Thanks

To take the old bolts out u jsut tap them lightly with a hammer.
Get the ARP's pressed in... there are more ghetto ways to put them in but those may throw the rod out of roundness.
My brother and I actually just drilled 2 holes in an old desk. So the bolts could of the rod could slide down into it. We then placed the ARP's in place and used a 6" socket extention and a hammer to tap them in. It worked like a charm and his engine is fine (GSR).
*It was a huge gamble on his part that I don't suggest.*
