well it wont go into vtec. it runs just fine, but when it hits 4500 the whole car just fails and it sounds like that motor just doesnt want to run anymore. we have tried 1 other vtec unit, and now i am stumped. what should we do?

Did you check the simple stuff like oil? Or maybe bad vtec connection? I'm sure its nothing serious.

 

yeah are you using any kind of controller or anything.

 

yeah, the oil is up coneecttion is good. it just stutters when u hit vtec. i think it could be the injectors arent getting the fuel that they should be
