last weekend a couple of us rented out Orlando speed world just to get some practice in before race season coming up. So after i got bored of the slicks I strapped on the M&H's all I was hoping for was like high 11's if that, only got 3 pass's on them and they went like this.

11.42@135 2.02 60ft
11.46@137 2.00 60ft
11.20@140 1.92 60ft

so if anyone is looking for traction on the street trust me these things work.
if they work on my car they will do wonders on Honda's.

They hook so great because they're a slick with a few grooves cut into it.

 

You are thinking of the cheater slicks, these are a little different. they all most look like a trailer tire very ugly.

 

The M&H P235/60-15 is called the Street & Strip Drag Racing Tire and called the Sport/Street. Drag Radials From M&H Coming Soon.

My BFG 225-50-15s aren't hooking enough for me on the street. I make 300 whp and it's spinning even from 2nd gear punches

I will be there, 40 hour drive for me but I'm trying my hardest this year.

Those times are nice but I'm really unimpressed by those 60ft.s especially after the title............

 

Ok what u have to remember is this is a VW i gurantee he makes more torque than you make horsepower. Being the first time out on the tires im sure hell get better with a few more passes under his belt. Cunhas car was the same way at first until we dialed the tire in. Now we know what works and what doesnt and know what to set it at to make it hook. Good numbers Chris

 

I'm really surprised that the 60fts are that good especially with the tq you must be churning with the vr6. Got a quaife in there??? They must be sticking good between shifts as well.

 

I'm fairly sure chris is making about 500 ft lbs of torque, hard keeping anything including a slick to hook hard.
