I am about to be installing my built H22 turbo in my prelude, and since the engine and tranny are out, I need to decide if I really need to drop the $800+ for a quaife. I will be driving the car daily (300whp) and will be dragging it a few times a year (500whp+), and I am just worried about traction issues, because at 250hp, the wheel would get ripped out of my hand because of the tourque steer, and I can't imagine it at double the power, and I want to pull off some good 60ft times, and im woried the stock open diff wont let me do that. So if you guys could give me your honest opinion on if its worth the money I would really appreciate it. The other things I have to aide in traction are ES motor mount inserts (front&back), 22" slicks, skunk2 900lb rear springs, rps 2200lb 6 puck, and a custom traction bar setup, so let me know, thanks guys.
im in the same situation, was going to run a ctr diff with my n/a motor, but now plans have changed towards a turbo setup, going to have to sell the ctr diff in favor of a quaife, i just don't want to risk losing the transmission due to the ctr diff, definately some security, especially if you plan on driving it, daily? im just unsure myself on quaife or obx, there is a thread in here about drivetrain and majority of the cars with 500+ are using quaife
*edit* here.. just on page 2.. so not too hard to find

It would help with your tractions issues, but also the stock diff. at that kind of power will break. It will be a peace of mind having the quaife...plus you can still comfortably drive it on the street unlike spools.

I would get the OBX but 1) They dont have an H22 one yet, and 2) after reading the comparisons Earl did with the Quaife and OBX, I would be worried that the qbx would destroy my tranny, and they seem like more work that they are worth, so pretty much right now its Quaife or nothing, so let's hear some more input, thanks.

not only that, go to there website, they make it clear that they back there product and warranty on any application n/a f/i,they know what we are doing with these diffs the kind of power we are making and they still warranty them for life.

Speaking from experiance at 500+ whp the stock diff will break on a H22 tranny . If your driving on the street Qauife is a good invenstment. I believe there around $1000 now.
i was about to post "if only they weren't so much" ... but you get what you pay for i guess. hopefully selling my ctr diff will help offset the negative balance on my pocket book
anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase one right now? pm?

I put about three trannies in my car at about 500.00 a peice,Then earl hooked me up with a quaife and i have not had the first problem yet (knock on wood)so i would say they are worth the money

Exactly, the best single mod I've ever done.
Plus, it made driving in the rain a lot more fun
