Weird driveability issue with hatch
K i wrote a post a lil whil ago about my extremely lean conditions and hesitating, i started to get a primary o2 check light, so i bought a new o2 from honda, so far i havent expereicned any hesitating but my a/f gauge is still showing a lean condition
now when im driving and for example rush hour today, i can leave it in 1st, no gas, and as soon as rpm drops down to 1000 it will stay there and i can coast forever at 1000 rpm even up hill, my car makes a chugging sound as the throttle kinda blips to maintain that 1000 rpm, it will never stall, at the same time my a/f gauge is showing red ( lean)
idle is perfect, i dont have any vac leaks, can anyone relate to this as a cause for my lean engine?

no, i know they are innaccurate but when my car was running "good" the a/f gauge would bounce like normal and hit green when WOT
not it barely hits the bottom part of stoich and will stay hovering in the red

since i replaced the o2 last week it hastn hesitated yet, but i have that problem where the car will not stall out it will just maintain 1000 rpm engine speed in 1st gear and ill cruise along at 3-5 km/h, no hesitating but the a/f is still showing lean conditions

As far as I know that's normal. The narrowband A/F gauge is worthless. It doesn't matter what the reading is, so long as it is bouncing back and forth.
