ctr N1 pulley question...

Default ctr N1 pulley question...

well im 90% sure im gonna pick one up but i was wondering if i have to get a new belt....im currently running a LS pulley and its too big so im gonna downsize....is the current alt. belt im running now too big or will it work?

ALSO.....will i notice any power gains.....thanks

I would hope the power gains you are talking about are for the alternator In all reality though, if on the idea of gaining power you have lost some rotating mass so I.E. freed up some acceleration, miniscule at best though.

so thats just like the lightened flywheel sorta....will my motor rev faster??

Same idea but not nearly as dramatic as a lightened flywheel. I use a 4pk735 alternator belt on my car with this pulley.

4pk735?
i read somewhere that they used 655mm or 25 3/4 in. belt....with 4 grooves..but i dont know.....

I used a 29.5" belt on mine. Just put it on, adjust the alt. where it needs to be and then wrap a string aroung them and measure it.

My old N1 thread.

yeah thanks man.....my car had/has the same problem....i think i have the ls pulley right now on my b20vtec and its hitting the tie rod....its been this way for quite a while now though....anyways thanks

The N1 CTR pulley uses a 4 rib 735mm belt. A 92-94 Acura Vigor power steering belt fits, part number 56992-PV0-013. This is what fit on my friends car, yours should be the same.
