What plastic protectant do you like best for the dash and interior?
Armoral seems to streak. Meguiars was a little better. Seems like they both attract dust though.

on the dash i usually just use a damp rag. i really hate how glossy those treatments make the dash and the glare off of it seems to be pretty damn dangerous...it's always shining right in my eyes.
I use Meguiar's #39 then #40. Only every three months or so. In between I use a damp warm cloth. I never apply in sun, the chemicals evaporate and "glue" to windows. Also in the sun they dry out... Hope this helps...
i use 303 Aerospace Protectant. i first wipe down the dash with a damp cloth, then i apply 303. the reason i like 303 is b/c it's water based, rather than oil based. oil based products deteriorate plastic over time. you can also use 303 as a tire trimming, put it on your rims, or on any plastic part on your vehicle.
Use nothing but a damp cloth. 99% of the dash cleaner/protectants on the market use a lot of silicone which heats up and dries out your dash when exposed to the sun. Your dash will wear out and crack over time especially if you live somewhere warm like california. But if you like your dash to be shiney then go for it

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe the petroleum additives, not the silicone are what cause this. I use a 100% silicone spray on my watercraft boat plastic which stays in the sun a lot. That is what was recomended by the dealer.

when the **** did I become queen of the britians??

Thanks to everyone else too. Lotts of good responses. I'll use a wet rag alternatley.
Yep I use Meguiars too and sometimes that armor all protect wipes. They look shiny at first but then later on they dull out and look good. But yeah your car won't get dusty unless you open your windows alot. I open mine a lot so I carry a duster in my car. Always dustin that sh*t!!
My mistake, I stand corrected. You're right it's petroleum not silicone in dash cleaners.
