b20 turbo

Default b20 turbo

Im putting a b20 into my 00 si and running the Drag III kit with ls tranny and upgraded ball bearing and wastegate. Just wondering what my times in the 1/4 mile should be around boosting 10psi????? Also wondering if theres a better tranny for the motor then ls??? stock b20, no vtec!!

you should running low 14s to high 13s if you can get traction.

i'd run a gsr tranny. the b16/type r might be alittle too much for the torque your gonna make. i'd get whichever one you can find quicker/cheaper.......but lose the ls.

You should be in the low to mid 13's with that setup, running slicks offcourse. IMO the ls trans is good for boost. With the longer gears, you will stay in boost for a longer period of time.

Keep the LS tranny, stay in boost as long as you can, cause thats where your power is!

You should be in the low to mid 13's with that setup, running slicks offcourse. IMO the ls trans is good for boost. With the longer gears, you will stay in boost for a longer period of time.

so then at about 14 psi it could be possible to hit 12's??

Keep the LS tranny, the other trannys gearing are too short because the motors they go with have very narrow powerbands...your B20 however, has torque and boost!!!!!!!! Hope that helps!
