Going about 5000 rpms it jumps to 6000rpms then boggs right on vtec. Anyone know what might caused this? i checked the solenoid and the filter is clean. no codes.Running p28 with jk conversion harness .I go into vtec at least 2-3 times a day and now today was the first time that it bogged like that.

 

how's your oil level?

 

hmm, i just added a quart not too long ago. ( a week ago)

 

Did you just visually check the silenoid or did you take it off and look at the screen? I would check your oil level before that though.

took the 3 10 mm off and looked at it.

 

when were your last tune up?

 

you throwing any codes

i would first check the cels
