Default quick question. How do you guys ship rims and tires?

I went to UPS to ship my SI rims and they told me I have to put it in the boxes and then ship them. I can't find big boxes.
Did anyone shiped their rims without boxes?

airborne express and dhl will ship it for dirt.....the ups store here by my house accepts wheels to be shipped without boxes only if they have tires on them..and like whoever said...the two were faced together with cardboard covering the faces..and strapped together.

When I've shipped wheels, I just went to the local wheel shop, and got 4 15" wheel boxes, strap two boxes together and you save on shipping. It cost more to ship 4 small boxes, than it does to ship 2 big boxes. Just a thought.
