squeeking sounds
when I speed up, then press on the brake gradually, I hear a little low squeeking sounds, doesn't always happens. Most of the time when it happens, is when I'm speeding up and gradually braking and turning my streering wheel to the alittle right. maybe to the left too but I havent' tried that. If I'm driving straight forward, doesn't matter at what speed, and I press on the brakes gradually, it will not happen.
The wear indicators just tell you when you pads are in need of replacement. It's so that they don't wear down without you knowing and you go careening off of a mountain road.
Does it squeak at all when you are not breaking, like when the brakes are still cold? I had almost the exact same problem coming from my front passanger side. Problem was that the caliper was worn and wouldn't release all the way. Cost $300 to have the whole front end overhauled (new calipers, resurface rotors, quality pads).
