TPS question
my idle fluctuates between 1000 and 1600 rpm and i have the IACV screwed al the way i did some searching and i guess i need to reset the TPS my question is my friend has a throttle bodyon his old motor with the TPS on it cna i just take his whole throttle body and put that on wiht haveing to set the tps cuase i dont have a volt gauge to set mine and i dont wanna put out anymore money to have my car fixed by someone else
if your original tps has NEVER been removed it is NOT the tps. look elsewhere... thats why they put those screws on there so you never **** it up,
but if needs be.. you will need a voltmeter. I can not set mine cause i don't have a volt meter... but if i tilt it all the way one way... my car idles at ~100rpm.. and all the way at the other side i idle at ~900rpm,. i need a volt meter...
hope that helped. get a voltmeter
