What parts to buy to build A FAST DAILY DRIVER B16A1
Hey guys im asking opinions on what would be the best suit for my CRX Si, i have a B16A that i wanna build up, but i want a daily driver as well, i already have a 2003 EP3 so i got alot of time to spend on my crx, i was thinking along the lines of a Skunk cams, retainers, valve springs, valves, port and polished head, and a CTR Block, Micro polished Crank, any other ideas???? please help, if u need to email me QUICKREXSI21@aol.com i also want to know to what pin do i assign my Secondary O2 Sensor??? its making my Check engine go off everytime i down shift. IF anyone has Integra GSR Hubs that will fit for sale hit me up, if looking for ZC Motor and parts. lET ME KNOW, I GOTS TONS OF STUFF IN MY GARAGE. THANKS

A CTR block? Then it would not be a b16. Ayway take the stock motor put some money into a turbo and boost 10 lbs. have fun with 200+ hp in a rex!!!
If i was going to do an all motor build heres how it would be...
Block - b18
Sleeves - Golden Eagle 84mm
Pistons - Aries 12:1
Rods - Pauter
Crank - Stock micropolished and chamfered
Bearings/Seals - all OEM GSR
Water/Oil pump - OEM ITR
Head - GSR
P&P - Portflow
3 deg valve job
Valves - Stock
Cams - Jun 3 (or other high lift cams)
Valvetrain - Fierra
That just about takes care of it for the internals. i would outfit it with some larger injectors, Bisi header, 2.5" exhaust, ITB's
, and GOOD tuning.

Block prep: with new OE everything including oversized CTR pistons and block honing no balancing needed as honda makes well balanced OE parts already. still thinking of boring the block to 82-83mm.
Head prep: 3-5angle valve job, porting of head to your liking, Buddy spec 3+ cams and valvetrain package. milled .030 thous and mugen headgasket. looking for 12.1-12.5Baby!
ITR oil/water pump.
thats my upcoming setup except mine will be highcompression valves or oversized and BC Spec 4s.
and i dont care what people say but i will attain 200+whp on a B16. this list can go on and on. but theres engine management, fuel delivery and tuning left to do but it will be done even if i have to sell my 92 LS.
i need 60whp more to make my commitment. im stock now with bolt-on making 140whp

i say ditch the b16 in favor of a k20a...that would make a fast daily driver..fast enough even when stock..

im sorry but your WRONG
a CTR block is not a B16 block. Its a b16 motor but the block is a destroked ITR/GSR block NOT b16
.
B16 motor, not block. Get it right
