I don't think anybody here has $70k to invest in a mandrel bender...
You'll have to buy one somewhere.

Summit racing has a house brand mandrel bend that is very cheap and actually has a round crosssection unlike some other, more expensive brands *coughdynomaxcough*. its $16.95 from summit for a 2.5" J bend and you will get it fast.

 

Hey, I've got a good supply on the mandrel bent piping. I can get a wide array of piping. anything from 1" to 6" diameter. 12-16 gauge. 304 Stainless Steel or Aluminum (even Carbon Steel for some sizes). 90, 60, 45, and 30 degree bends and anything from 3" to 10" on center radius. Chances are it will be a crush bend.

 

i donno, they guy i always get to do stuff for me works out of this litle muffler/inspection shop, but its all mandrel

are you sure about that? Does his machine look like this:

 

its not that long, but yeah pretty much. Ive watched him make numerous exhausts and piping. Hes got all the the stuff for like 1.5"-3.5". Sets it up, picks the angle, hits a button, and its bent. He does just about every persons exhaust in the area

 

ubendman on ebay. I got 5 2.5" steel Ubends off him for under 35 shipped.

well damn, you're lucky to have him then. Most exhaust shops just have a pipe crusher

 

i have any mandrel bends u need in stock any size and stainless or asteel or alluminum let me know we have full exhaust tubbing kits also
flex section anything u need

 

youre not supposed to make exaust out of alluminum are you?

You can its not recommended and it will more then likely fail!

321 .028 would be alot better

lol we dont have them on a 5" radius im not being a smart *** our's is on a 5.3" or so.

I just wanna see if anybody out there is doing and what its costing

lots of people can make these.. they are what you call.. rich and employed.
