ummm... duhhh...
hey guys... I have ... I think a 91 ls tranny... i was trying to figure out where the transmission fluid goes...
so ... a few questions...
1. there are like 4 bolts on top including one that looks like a dip stick hole that has a cover on it. and I know where the drain bolt is... but there is a bolt that that you can insert a 1/2 wrachet in and a bolt w/ six sides that works the same as the first bolt. about the same height. both are hard as hell to take off.. so which hole is it?
2. whats the difference between atf and mtf... since my car didnt work I had my brother get me MANUAL transmission fluid... and he came home w/ A t f... just wondering the difference.
thanks...

yea... but that bolt looks shallow it looks like it could also be REALLY hard to take off... I dont want to spend several hours taking off a bolt that would just strip and have wasted time on my hands
To drain, there is a bolt below the axle, it is a recessed square, take your ratchet and stick it in.
When that is complete there is a bolt directly Northwest of there, about even with your axle, thats where you fill it. I believe it's a 17mm? Not sure can't remember.
Get a funnel and put some vaccum hose on the end and pour whichever kind of lubricant you prefer in!
BTW, it's all on your passenger side JIC.

No, all d and b series have the same basic speed sensor. It's just some have an electronic sensor at the top of them and others have a cable coming out. Take the 2 or 3 10mm bolts out, yank the sensor out and fill it from there. That's what I've always done and it works fine. BG or honda MTF works the best.
