For those of you who have done this personally, can I drive the obd2 car with a jumper harness and the unchipped po6? or is it going to have problems, is it completely nessesary to chip it first before I do any driving? Thanks in advance!

 

You could but not sure how good it's gonna be. Just chip the p06 and get a LS program for it.

 

That is the plan I was gonna chip it tonight, and burn an eprom with an LS map. I threw on the p06 a few minutes ago and it bogged like crazy and pretty much gave up. Is that normal, I was driving very conservatively.

 

I hear you can use the P06, I will be getting my ls swap and running the P06 ecu until I can get mine chipped.

 

p06 will work and runs fine but its like hitting a wall at 6500 rpms
