EK Transmissions Questions

I have a transmission in my garage. The person that dropped it off said it's an EX tranny from an EK Civic...I have a DX tranny in my car. Where do you look on the tranny to see if its an EX, LX, or DX transmission. On my DX, the ID number is S 40 ....What is the EX and LX ID number?

it should have a sticker on it just like your tranny not sure on the code tho

It has the sticker code. what is the EX code...
