replacing z6 valves
just wondering on how necessary it is to have headwork done on an almost stock rebuild - upgrading the cam and springs and new factory valves - will I be alright with just swapping out the valves or do i have to have work done on it first?
Slow down. Breath.
What are you asking? Are you just doing an all OEM rebuild? Are you slapping a larger cam in? Are you doing cam and valve springs?
If you arent doing anything too radical, the OEM valves are fine, just use new ones.
And no, you dont need any work done to require replacing valves, it certainly cant hurt to have fresh parts in there.

Ummmmmm, get valve springs to match the recommended pressures of the camshaft manufacturer, dont just get the heaviest spring possible thinking its "better".
And just get the valves re-seated and should be good to go.
