suspension for eg hatch
im getting the hatch in a few days, and i want a decent suspension for it, its gona be my daily driver, but i want to have some fun in it, i have been looking at ground controls coilovers, and some tokicos illuminas. just wondering if this is a decent set up for my needs, and if ill be happy with it,or if i should spend a few extras bucks on something better so i wont get bored with them in a week, thx a lot
go to http://memoryfab.com they make their own coilovers for a good price. good **** and great people, ask for dave.
I've swapped ITR LCA's and i'm running Mugen Dampers on my hatch, but to be completely honest you can get similar performance and height adjustability with Koni Yellows and Ground Controls for a fraction of the cost.
For me:
Koni & GC (400f/250r) w/ 14mm (integra) rear sway. All shocks set 1 full turn from soft makes the car VERY fun on the street. Cars lowered 2.5", and I drive on 205/40/16s (32 psi). I also use GC upper hats in the front to add a little bit of suspension travel (.75"). Car will gently over steer w/o any problem.
If you go the Koni/GC route, make sure to buy Koni specific Ground Control Sleeves (called "Baby Tubes"). Also, you can order ANY spring rate you want.
