Default sorry wrong forum but need help b16a1 turbo help

i have a b16a1 and wanted to turbo it, my friend gave me a new turbo and inter cooler off a turbo eclipse and i pretty much know what i need, i just wanted to know how do the vacume lines run and somone told me i need to do something with the map sensor plz help it will be appreciated!!--- i am not looking to boost over 8psi the motor is bone stock

bump id like some info too, i have accsess to a fully rebuilt 14b but i didnt bother with it yet since i have more bolt-ons yet to buy.

Yeah that map sensor trick thing is easy..You do it to keep the cel off by tricking the ecu..

You can get a missing link from importparts.com to keep the cel off....

Or You could do this..http://www.angelfire.com/ab7/diymaplimiter

Or You could get some check valves from the pet store..Use one every 5 psi of boost..
They bleed the boost and trick the ecu..Heres a pic so you get the idea..
You just get some vaccum hose,check valve(s),and a t-fitting..

Whoa, nice stuff there Mrspeaker. I have never heard about the check valve thing, that is interesting.

To the original poster: have you tried asking the guys in the forced induction forum yet? They may have an answer for you.
