Default Help: My headlights are acting up..what can i do?

hey guys, this problem has been going on for almost a month now, and it's starting to really **** me off. Heres the situation: At night, when my headlights are on, everything is fine, as soon as i signal to get into a left lane, my headlights would really start to dim and the hi-beam comes on but with a much more dimmer lighting than my headlights, then the cruise controle light turns on, and my windshield wipers start to really act up..let me know what i can do to get this fixed, thanks in advanced

easiest thing to do would be to get some electrical connector cleaner and clean your connections to your head light, maybe look for exposed wires or bad grounds. I had a headlight problem where mine were just going out for no reason after they were on. I cleaned up the connections before the bulb and it never happened again.

Always good idea to start with the simplest and eaisest first.

Does it only happen when you turn left. Does it happen when you actually turn or right when you hit the turn signal.. Check your wiring in your console could have some shorted wires.

when i hit my left signal, all that crazy **** starts to happen...when i try to use my wipers when the lights are acting up, the wipers would stop in the middle of my window, or it wouldn't stop when i have it on off..

You might need to replace your turn signal/headlight appendage thingy. Just go to a junkyard and replace it.
